If your home is feeling a bit stale, try one (or all) of these 9 ways to help revitalize your home and make you fall back in love!

1. One Small Upgrade
Putting in a backsplash can transform your kitchen, bathroom, or even laundry room into the best version of itself it can be. With a variety of designs to choose from and differing price points, they are an excellent way to personalize your home without breaking the bank.

2. Freshen It Up
Does your bedroom need something extra? Try new bedding. You can make an even bigger impact by splurging and buying yourself a new duvet cover and transforming the whole look of your room.

3. Updating A Sofa
Revitalize your sofa by “reupholstering” your sofa pillows! You can change the feel of the entire room with a few new textiles and designs. This is an excellent way to add a personal touch while making your current sofa feel brand new!

4. Give Your Windows A Special Treatment
Change your window treatment for added eye candy. You can add soft curtain panels or tear out the old drapes for a light, modern shade.

5. Paint, Paint, And More Paint
Adding a coat of paint to refresh the look, or changing the feel of a room with different color, can be a huge upgrade. Some savvy homeowners can even get this done in a weekend, or two!

6. Swap Lighting
A statement chandelier, new bedside lamps or a new floor lamp in the living room packs a very directional punch. Before you start side-eyeing your sofa or dining room table, try changing the lighting first.

7. Change Is Welcome Everywhere
A bathroom is all about the little things: the soap dish, the hand towels, the toothbrush holders, the shower curtain, even the bathmat. There is a lot you can do with a few dollars and a trip to the store.

8. Fixing Floor Problems
Tired hardwood? Paint it! Honestly, it’s the most liberating design decision you’ll ever make, because everything looks better on white, gray or black floors. (If you can’t afford French oak, that is).

9. Say It AND Spray It
So there’s a thin line between this and spring cleaning, but just using a pressure washer and a keen eye can make all the difference. Your patio (and anything else that can be pressure washed) will thank you!

Or Start Over Fresh
Sometimes the best decision is to start fresh somewhere new. If you feel like you need a fresh start, feel free to contact me to see what’s available for you. I am always open to discuss your options!
